WE WANT TO CHANGE MORE THAN TRANSPORT
We believe everyone should think efficiency and how it could change our daily dynamics. We want to bring efficiency into our daily thought patterns and etched it in how we execute. We aren’t ridesharing but driving a movement where we get more out of life; we are more than a ridesharing service.
Efficiency, as defined by Wikipedia, is the (often measurable) ability to avoid wasting materials, energy, efforts, money, and time in doing something or in producing the desired result. In a more general sense, it is the ability to do things well, successfully, and without waste.
As a city that loves the good life, we know it is essentially important to draw value from every transaction. We can’t continue to:
- spend hours on the road when we can change that
- burn our hard earned resources in the traffic jam without steps to reverse it
- increase our commute cost without clear justification
- deliberately increase atmospheric toxins without remorse
- increase loneliness & boredom through constant solo trips
At Parizzo, we are driving the culture of efficiency into the way we commute daily. We are leading the way by rethinking everything we know the culture, input and output. That’s because we know we can get more out of life if we try.
Tim Wu in his New Yorker column quoted some lines of Kelvin Kelly’s book (What Technology Wants): “Technology wants what life wants: Increasing efficiency; Increasing opportunity; Increasing emergence; Increasing complexity; Increasing diversity; Increasing specialization; Increasing ubiquity; Increasing freedom; Increasing mutualism; Increasing beauty; Increasing sentience; Increasing structure; Increasing evolvability.”
As we make efforts to share rides today, let’s know life offers us more. We have to seek it out so we can live life fully, we can only accomplish more with efficient use of our hard earn money and assets. We have to ceaselessly drive efficiency in all we do. It starts today towards rich life.
